The Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has condemned the confrontation between popular content creators VeryDarkMan (Martins Vincent Otse) and Mr Jollof (Freedom Atsepoyi), describing their mid-air altercation as “unacceptable and unlawful while promising to sanction them.”
In a statement released on X, the NCAA’s Director of Consumer Affairs, Michael Achimugu, said the airline involved is mandated to file an incident report to the Authority.
He explained that once the report is received, it would be reviewed and forwarded to the legal unit for appropriate regulatory action.

Achimugu, who noted that he issued the initial response while transiting through an airport, disclosed that he has already requested further details from field staff.

According to him, the NCAA is particularly interested in confirming whether the pilot deplaned the two men or continued the flight with them on board an action which, if verified, could attract sanctions for breaching aviation safety procedures.
He warned that the behaviour of the two influencers endangered other passengers and violated the NCAA’s ongoing campaign against unruly and disruptive conduct onboard aircraft.
A full statement, he added, would be issued once all necessary information and official reports are available.
