Human rights lawyer, Dele Farotimi, has stated that Nigeria is not working for Nigerians, but rather for the rulers alone.
He made this statement in a video shared by Peter Obi Grassroots Mobilization.
Farotimi stated that the rulers of Nigeria are having a party while claiming the country is working.
His words,”The unification of the political class that you’re seeing is a sort of homecoming. You know when you speak about the APC not being different from the PDP, the PDP not different from the APC.
“If there was any difference between the two you would have seen the market difference in development, in governance indices.

“If there’s anything you can use to measure governance you would have found differences in all, in the political landscape, evidencing itself in progression in one part, retrogression on the other.
“But what you see is uniform retrogression across the country. So even when you see the entire structure of PDP in one state or the red cap in Kano state, you see them moving around, just understand it is a unification of a class.
“The class has a bounding together in recognition of their common interest. They will tell you Lagos is working for instance. The question I ask is who is it working for?
“Oh! Nigeria is working that is why people are going to the APC. Who is Nigeria working for? It’s working for the rulers! The rulers of Nigeria are Having a party!
