Popular TV host, Bolanle Olukanni, has decried the state in which the Nigerian passport has been bastardized.
Olukanni made this outburst on her X handle on Tuesday. She stated this after her father who, a retired ambassador with 30 years of experience had his visa denied by the Austrian embassy.
According to her, for the visa of a retired ambassador to be denied, it shows the lack of regard for Nigeria.
She wrote, ” I just want you guys to know that the Nigeria passport has really been bastardized. My father is a whole retired Ambassador who lived and served in Austria for 3 years.

“He applied for a schengen visa alongside my mum and the Austrian embassy denied their visas.”
She continued, “Do you realize the lack of diplomacy and courtesy and disregard for a country you have to have to deny a former foreign service officer a visa.
“A Foreign service officer who served for 30 years and has been to over 30 countries.
“They think he wants to japa to Austria. I’m so insulted. Lord. At the end of the day this thing where people call out the truths and realities of a situation and people want to make agenda out of it. It’s so scary”, she exclaimed.
