Nigeria has secured a place in the AFCON 2025 quarter-finals after a commanding 4-0 victory over Mozambique in the Round of 16.
Ademola Lookman opened the scoring in the 20th minute, slotting Akor Adams’ square pass into the top corner.

Victor Osimhen then doubled the lead just before half-time and added a second after the break, putting Nigeria in full control of the match.

Akor Adams completed the scoring by firing his first goal of the tournament past Mozambique goalkeeper Ernan Siluane.
The Super Eagles will now face either Algeria or DR Congo in the quarter-finals on Saturday.
