Nigerian Drug Dealer Nabbed in India for Drugs Worth Over N130m

Officials from Mumbai’s Bandra Unit of the Anti-Narcotics Cell (ANC) have reported the arrest of a Nigerian individual involved in drug trafficking, along with the seizure of cocaine worth an estimated Rs 1.25 crore.

On January 8, the ANC Bandra Unit carried out a targeted operation against drug dealers in a Mumbai locality. This led to the capture of a Nigerian citizen who was found carrying 125 grams of cocaine near Andheri East.

A video shared by Asian News on their X account reports that the Anti-Narcotics Cell of the Mumbai Crime Branch arrested a Nigerian from the Andheri area and seized 125 grams of cocaine from him.

The arrested individual, a 31-year-old male, admitted during questioning that he had been distributing cocaine throughout Mumbai and its suburbs.

A thorough investigation has been launched by the authorities to identify and apprehend other key players in the drug trade.

In addition, the ANC officials have stated that they have detained 231 major drug dealers, including 17 individuals from Nigeria.
