Nigerian Student David Chukwudi Breaks SAT’s Record

Sochima David Chukwudi, a student at the Nigerian Tulip International College (NTIC), has accomplished an amazing feat by breaking the previous record on the Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT). Out of a possible 1,600 points, Chukwudi earned a total of 1,590.

The previous record-high score was held by a Nigerian student, but this accomplishment tops it. Chukwudi credited his accomplishments to hard work, perseverance, reading a lot, and divine intervention. He also expressed gratitude to his NTIC instructors for their support.

In an interview with Leadership, he stated, “First, it was the grace of God that saw me through, and secondly, it was intensive reading, determination, and hard work. It took me months of reading, studying, preparing, and practicing for this exam.

“I also used a lot of website materials to practise and understand what the SAT is all about. I can also say for sure that i had a lot of sleepless nights, and I am grateful to God that those nights paid off.”

Chukwudi’s accomplishment was praised by Fevzullah Bilgin, Managing Director of NTIC, who said it was evidence of both the student’s unwavering commitment to academic success and the school’s.

The SAT measures students’ proficiency in reading, writing, and mathematics and is a recognized university admission exam in the United States. Chukwudi’s outstanding performance sets him apart not just in Nigeria but also on the international academic scene.
