Many Nigerians Complaining of Hunger Will Still Vote Tinubu’s Govt in 2027 — Rufai

Renowned journalist and broadcaster, Oseni Rufai has expressed concern that, despite widespread complaints about hunger and economic hardship, many Nigerians may still support Bola Tinubu’s administration in the upcoming 2027 elections.

Rufai made this known in a post he shared on his X handle on Saturday.

He lamented that the same cycle of vote buying will repeat itself and many Nigerian will still fall prey of receiving N5kg of rice and a sum of N10,000 in exchange for their vote.

He stated that the same thing is happening in the Ondo election.

His post reads,”I believe a lot of people screaming hunger will still vote this administration in 27.

“There is a way the mind of the oppressed mind works except we intentionally remove our minds from the bondage of oppression nothing will happen and this is what oppressors know so well and very soon they will play the rice card just like they are playing in Ondo.

“When an hungry man see 5kg of Rice and 10k. To vote is the least thing for him to do. Many destinies have been eroded this way,” he added.
