Renowned journalist and broadcaster Oseni Rufai has lamented that, despite the fact that Nigerians are suffering, they still collect money and vote in people who impoverish them.
Rufai made this known in a post shared on his official X handle on Wednesday.
He lamented that it’s so shocking to discover that once they are given money, Nigerians will go ahead to still vote the people who’ll keep them in that suffering state.
According to Rufai, it’s about a transaction for most Nigerians, they don’t really care.

His post reads,”As we speak. Nigerians are dealing with inflation and this government hasn’t done anything to manage it.
“Nigerians are suffering and hurting. The shocking thing is once they gave them money during elections.
“They will still gladly vote in people that impoverish them. It’s about a transaction for most Nigerians, they don’t really care.
“Easily after a dismal performance. The same political party gets reelected. We will keep speaking!
