Dozens of Nigerians in the South West region have taken to the streets in a major protest demanding the resignation of Chief Bola Ahmed Tinubu, citing unimaginable hunger and hardship under his government.

The protest, which gained traction after a viral video surfaced on social media, depicts Nigerians predominantly speaking the Yoruba language while holding banners and placards with slogans such as “Nigeria deserves better.”

Amidst the demonstration, protesters were heard chanting phrases like “Tinubu is overrated,” “The pressure is too much,” and “Tinubu it’s not by force.”

This outcry comes in the wake of widespread discontent over the disastrous economic policies of the president, with the hashtag #TinubuMustGo trending on various social media platforms.
