I’m Not Fake Prophet — Odumeje

The General Overseer of the Mountain of Holy Ghost Intervention and Deliverance Ministry, Chukwuemeka Cyril Ohanaemere, widely known as Odumeje, has rebuffed allegations of being a fake prophet.

In response to widespread claims and concerns raised by gospel singer Dunsin Oyekan regarding the ‘abido shaker’ trend, Odumeje asserted that his source of power is not rooted in fake practices or consultations with native doctors.

Odumeje, addressing the issue in a viral TikTok video, emphasized that his miraculous deeds are attributed solely to Jesus Christ, distancing himself from any association with fake powers.

“I don’t have anything to do with fake power; only Jesus appears to me. I have never gone to any place or native doctor to seek power. It’s all about Jesus,” he stated unequivocally.

The gospel singer, Dunsin Oyekan, had earlier cautioned Christians about the dangers of trivializing faith through trends like ‘abido shaker’, highlighting the need to confront and discourage such practices within the Christian community.

“Been seeing videos and people writing ‘Abido Shaker’ and the rest… Believers, the things we find funny are a mockery of our faith. We should shut things like this down! No, it’s not funny! You will be shocked at how gullible some people are! #wakeup,” Oyekan stated.
