NTSB Releases Photos of Helicopter Crash Site Involving Wigwe, Family, Others

The United States National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) has unveiled photographs capturing the aftermath of the helicopter crash involving Access Holdings Chief Executive Officer, Herbert Wigwe, along with his wife, Doreen, their son Chizi Wigwe, and former Nigerian Exchange Group Chairman, Abimbola Ogunbanjo.

The crash occurred in an Airbus EC130 helicopter close to the California-Nevada border near Halloran Springs.

The released images, made public following a site visit by NTSB board member Michael Graham, depict NTSB officials meticulously inspecting the wreckage at the crash site.

Graham underscored the agency’s unwavering commitment to conducting a thorough investigation, outlining the activities carried out during the initial day of examination. These activities included aerial drone mapping and comprehensive documentation of the wreckage.

Furthermore, Graham mentioned that various electronic devices and onboard equipment were retrieved from the scene for further scrutiny and analysis.
