Legal practitioner and rights activist, Dele Farotimi, has described the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory as the poster boy of the Nigerian ‘ruining crass’.
In a post on his X account, Farotimi suggested that Wike embodies the worst of Nigeria’s political elite, a shamelessly self-serving, visionless figure who thrives on noise rather than substance.
“Nyesom Wike: poster boy of the Nigerian ruining crass. Cacophonous, parasitic, narcissistic, Lilliputian, gluttonous, myopic, and completely untouched by any desire for immortality.”
According to another Nigerian on X, @AdoyiA, Wike’s legacy remains a trail of empty rhetoric, unchecked greed, and a glaring lack of meaningful impact. A perfect symbol of the rot holding the nation back.
Farotimi added that Nigeria, though spared the blight of natural disasters, is gravely afflicted by a wicked, nepotistic, visionless, and sybaritic ruling class, which Wike proudly represents.
