Peter Obi, the Labour Party presidential candidate in the 2023 election, and former Vice President Yemi Osinbajo attended the International Leaders Forum (ILF) at the ongoing US Democratic National Convention in Chicago.
The 11th Iinternatonal Leaders Forum which hold on the sidelines of the Democratic National Convention (DNC) in Illinois from August 19-22.
Obi confirming the invitation on his X handle, said that they were invited to participate in the 2024 International Leaders Forum (ILF) on the sidelines of the Democratic National Convention in Chicago, Illinois, taking place from August 19-22, 2024.
He said he was invited “along with two other eminent Nigerians, and about two hundred other distinguished political leaders from over 91 countries, including former Heads of Governments”.

The event hosted by the National Democratic Institute (NDI) every four years since 1984, the forum brings together senior politicians and policy-makers from around the world to observe an important facet of the American democratic process.
