Nigerian comedian Seyi Law, who has pledged unwavering loyalty to Bola Ahmed Tinubu and expressing his commitment to vote for Tinubu in any upcoming elections was hit with criticism from Malcolm Omirhobo, a human rights lawyer.
The comedian, known for his public support of Tinubu, reiterated his stance, stating, “I would rather stay with a Moses through the wilderness to Canaan than eat meats and drink wine in slavery in Egypt at the expense of my children’s future.”
However, this declaration faced criticism from Omirhobo. In response to Seyi Law’s loyalty pledge, Omirhobo questioned the comedian’s reasoning, suggesting that hunger and hardship in Nigeria might have clouded his judgment.
The lawyer metaphorically commented on Seyi Law’s choice on his X handle, stating, “Emergency comedian , Seyi law or what do you call yourself . I am sure that the hunger and hardship in Nigeria has shut down your brain . If not why do you want to spend 40 years with Moses in the wilderness on foot when you can make the journey by air in 1 hr , 45mins from Egypt to Israel. I pity you and the future of your children .
