Despite Being Caught in Series of Lies, Tinubu’s Propaganda Aide Bayo Onanuga Claims Peter Obi is Demarketing Nigeria

Bayo Onanuga, spokesperson for Chief Bola Tinubu, has accused the 2023 presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Mr Peter Obi of demarketing Nigeria, despite his own involvement in spreading misinformation.

Onanuga took to his social media handle to echo a post by Nwachukwu Chigozie, labeling Obi as a “bitter person” and a “chief mourner” for allegedly tarnishing Nigeria’s image during a visit to Canada.

Chigozie’s post described Obi’s visit to Canada, where he criticized the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and voiced concerns about the conduct of the last presidential election. According to Chigozie, Obi’s actions amounted to “demarketing” Nigeria.

The statement may have been triggered by Obi’s remarks about the failure of INEC’s server during the election and his criticisms of the current administration’s treatment towards him.

Despite the validity of Obi’s concerns, Onanuga opted to portray him negatively, quoting Chigozie’s post and labeling Obi as “Bitter Obi” on his personal social media handle.

Obi’s recent visit to Canada has been a subject of controversy, with some criticizing his remarks while others support his right to express his opinions.

It’s worth noting that Onanuga’s attempt to paint Obi in a negative light comes amidst a backdrop of controversy surrounding Tinubu’s political ambitions and allegations of misinformation spread by his camp.
