Rivers Crisis: It’ll Only Take God To Solve Political Tussle Between Wike, Fubara—Shehu Sani

A former Kaduna Central Senator, Shehu Sani, has said only God can resolve the political feud between Governor Sim Fubara and his predecessor, Nyesom Wike in Rivers State crisis.

Sani made this outburst in a post on his X handle on Tuesday. He wrote, “Rivers State has been left in the hands of God to solve the problem.

Recall that Rivers State has come under intense political crisis since Governor Fubara assumed office.

Fubara and Wike are allegedly fighting over political control in the state. The crisis has led to the emergence of two parallel speakers, Martin Amaewhule and Victor Oko-Jumbo.

However, Bola Tinubu’s earlier intervention did not yield the expected result, as the political supporters of the two parties continues to throw tantrums at each other.
