Renowned broadcast journalist Rufai Oseni has publicly criticized Tinubu’s government regarding Binance and the ongoing depreciation of the naira.

In a post on his official X handle, Oseni wrote, “I thought they said Binance was the problem with the Naira? After Binance, what’s next?”

This statement reflects Nigerians’ broader uncertainty and confusion regarding the true cause of the Naira’s depreciation.

Despite Binance officially suspending Naira transactions on March 8, the currency continues to depreciate against the dollar.

Reacting @Teddy Ezeike tweeted, “No mind them. It is crazy to believe that crypto P2P has any negative effect on the Naira. Rather it is actually accretive to the value of Naira . Yes because it a robust channel for access to unlimited forex without burdening our financial system for dollars,”.
