Renowned transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has disclosed that Victor Osimhen is poised to finalize a contract extension with Napoli ahead of the Christmas festivities.
Recent revelations from Napoli’s president, Aurelio de Laurentiis, confirm that Osimhen and the Serie A titleholders have successfully negotiated terms for an extended deal.
The agreement entails a one-year extension, accompanied by a release clause ranging between €130-140 million.
Osimhen’s initial contract was set to conclude in 2025.

In addition to the contract extension, the 24-year-old Nigerian striker is set to experience a salary boost.
“The agreement between Napoli and Victor Osimhen on new deal is 100% done and confirmed,” Romano wrote on his X account.
“It will be sealed before Christmas, it’s imminent.”
The Nigeria international has scored seven goals in 14 league appearances for the Partenopei this season.
