Abia State Governor, Dr. Alex Otti, led a two-day Executive Retreat for newly appointed Permanent Secretaries. The governor set the tone for an intensive session focused on enhancing competencies, fostering collaboration, and spearheading civil service reform.
“I emphasized the high aspirations of Abia people,” said Governor Otti, underlining the imperative to establish seamless collaboration between Commissioners, government appointees, and Ministry staff. He urged the officials to conduct thorough assessments, deploying personnel to roles where their strengths shine.
In a congratulatory note to the newly appointed Head of Service and Permanent Secretaries, Governor Otti counseled diligence and accountability.
