In a move to bolster Abia State’s security, Governor Alex Otti hosted Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Taoreed Lagbaja, during his nationwide tour of Nigerian Army formations.

The Governor expressed gratitude for Lagbaja’s commendation on Abia’s security efforts, emphasizing the collaborative strides made in infrastructure and logistics support for the 14 Brigade, Ohafia.

Otti acknowledged the army’s readiness to collaborate, ensuring a peaceful Abia conducive to economic activities. The governor affirmed a commitment to partnering with the army and other security agencies, extending assistance despite economic challenges.
