Abia State Governor, Dr. Alex Otti, has followed through on his promise to aid victims of the recent devastating fire at the Ehere Timber Market in Aba.
In a gesture of support and empathy, Governor Otti disbursed financial relief to those affected by the tragic incident, which consumed vast quantities of timber goods, machinery, and shops.
The victims were presented with cheques corresponding to the estimated value of their losses incurred during the blaze, which ravaged the market just last month.
Governor Otti demonstrated his commitment to the welfare of the affected individuals by promptly visiting the site of the disaster a day after its occurrence.
