Paris to Dispatch Humanitarian Supplies To Gaza

The French Foreign Ministry declared on Thursday that Paris will dispatch an aircraft to Gaza that is loaded with humanitarian supplies for the civilian population. Tents, medication, and emergency medical supplies are among the aid items.

The CMA CGM Foundation will provide an aircraft to transport the emergency cargo from Paris to Egypt. The goods will be delivered to the Egyptian Red Cross upon arrival.

The shipment, which includes 336 tents, 28 metric tons of food supplements, 70,000 water purification tablets, 18 emergency ventilators, medication, and solar lamps, among other things, will be transported in an aircraft that takes off on Saturday, AFP reports.

This action is being taken in the midst of mounting worries about the worsening humanitarian situation in Gaza. In order to facilitate the delivery of critical aid, the French Foreign Ministry has reiterated its call for a “humanitarian truce.”
