In a bid to steer the youth away from criminal activities and making a meaningful impact in their lives, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), has unveiled Dove FC, a brand-new football club.
The unveiling of the club took place over the weekend at Redemption City in Lagos.
The development seeks to identify and nurture talent among young individuals, selected from the church’s six regions, who fall within the age range of 16 to 21.
The ultimate goal is to equip them for potential careers in professional football.

During the launch event, Pastor Adeboye emphasised the importance of prioritizing service to God over the pursuit of material wealth.
He stressed, “Victory is achieved through divine intervention, not sheer human strength. To attain success, one must walk hand in hand with God.”
Additionally, Prince Dapo Ajibade, the chairman of Dove FC, shared his vision for the team, highlighting the church’s commitment to exploring new horizons and making a meaningful impact in the lives of young individuals.
“By the special grace of God and with the support of the GO, Dove FC will expand to become the biggest brand in the world,” he said.
