Nigerian lifestyle pastor and founder of Salvation Proclaimers Anointed Church (SPAC Nation), known as the Nxtion Family—Tobi Adegboyega, has publicly revealed his battle with cancer.
The revelation came during a pre-recorded sermon delivered to his congregation on Thursday. Adegboyega disclosed that he had recently undergone major surgery as part of his treatment.
“I was diagnosed with cancer. Yes, you heard me right,” he said. “I’ve been dealing with cancer for the past few months or even longer. I just had a major surgery, that’s why I am not there today.”
Reflecting on his journey, the pastor added, “I have just fought the battle, and I feel the verdict to continue life was given to me by God, for a new level, a new stage.”

Adegboyega, who is widely known for his message to the youth and his opulent lifestyle, described his experience as a testimony of purpose and resilience. He announced a personal donation of £100,000 toward cancer awareness and treatment for young people affected by the disease.
The controversial pastor has often made headlines. In 2022, UK authorities shut down the SPAC Nation Church over allegations of financial mismanagement. The church was accused of failing to properly account for over £1.87 million in expenditures.
