Former Senator representing Kogi West, Dino Melaye, has dismissed his suspension from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), stating that “a breeze cannot be suspended.”
Melaye was suspended by the party in his Ward 1, Ayetoro Gbede, over alleged anti-party activities and misconduct.
The decision followed his refusal to attend a summons issued by the party’s disciplinary committee, which investigated the accusations against him.
The suspension was endorsed by the Ward Chairman, Abayomi Osamika, and Secretary, Yodson Dayo.
In response, Melaye posted a video on X accusing the Acting PDP National Chairman, Illiya Damagun, of being the root cause of the party’s problems.
His words “You can’t suspend breeze, Damagun is the source of PDP problems. His belly is his God.”
