Renowned broadcaster and journalist, Oseni Rufai has lamented the rate at which Nigerians ascribe wrong doings in the country to ‘the will of God.’
In a post shared on his official X handle, he described Nigerians as the most comical being. He complained that police will kill people and violate their rights yet IGP will call it will of God.
His post reads,”Nigerians are the most comical bunch, people will rig elections and Nigerians will call it the will of God. Police will kill and violate the rights of others and the IGP will call it the will of God.
“A politician will cause pain and economic hardship and he feels no remorse and brags about it. His supporters will clap for him and say the reforms are working.

“They said they cultivated 10m hectares yet where is the food? They said they approved minimum wage and government workers are complaining of no Christmas pay?
“They said they have fixed insecurity but a lawmaker was kidnapped yesterday in Onitsha. They say the fair value of Naira to the dollar will be 700 and today it’s 1700.
“The president says he’s reduce debt servicing to 68% but he forgot to add that debt is now 134 trillion from 87 trillion in 20 months and we are spending 15.8 trillion out of 49 trillion budget to service Debt, minus 49-15.8.
“So only 33.2 trillion to spend on recurrent and capital and Hey! The money isn’t assured ooo. 34 trillion projected revenue and 13 trillion deficit. If you run a company and this is your balance sheet, then the company is in trouble!
“They say they are doing CNG but did it reduce the cost of transportation. They say they are fighting inflation but it’s 34%.They say they believe in human rights but Okuama happened.
“They said they have cleared ways and means but it’s not true. They said they have brought in 25 billion in FDI but where’s in the money? They are bragging about shell in Bonga but also oil majors aren’t bidding for new fields.”
