Education Drives Development, Not Wealth — Peter Obi Donates ₦10m to Francis Cardinal Arinze Secondary School in Anambra

Peter Obi, the 2023 Labour Party presidential candidate, has reiterated his belief that education remains the most critical driver of sustainable development, stressing that ideas, knowledge, and skills, not material wealth, will determine the future of societies.

He made this statement during a visit to Francis Cardinal Arinze Secondary School in Nkwelle Ezunaka, Anambra State.

Speaking with students during the visit on Tuesday, January 13, Obi noted that the world is rapidly evolving and that progress is no longer anchored on physical assets such as land, buildings, or possessions, but on intellectual capacity and creativity.
