Former Anambra State Governor and presidential candidate Peter Obi has reacted to the tragic bombing of residents in Tudun Biri Village, Igabi Local Government Area of Kaduna State, expressing his sadness and condolences to the families of the victims.
In a poignant message shared on his official X handle, former Governor Peter Obi expressed profound sadness in response to the tragic accident.
“I read with sadness, the devastating reports of the accidental bombing of Tudun Biri Village in the Igabi Local Government Area of Kaduna State, by a Nigerian Army craft that mistook the villagers for terrorists.
“Rest, and quick healing to the injured. We pray that such a mistake leading to a sorrowful outcome, as this, never happens again in our country.

“It is regrettable that the problem of insecurity in our nation has persisted for so long that we are now paying such unintended human costs as collateral damage, ” Obi tweeted.
The incident, involving a Nigerian Army aircraft mistakenly identifying the villagers as terrorists, has left the community in shock and mourning.
