Amid speculation about opposition alliances to challenge the APC in 2027, talks of a coalition have gained momentum. Atiku has been seen meeting with Obi, former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai, and other political heavyweights across the country ahead of the next election cycle.

Earlier this week, El-Rufai formally exited the APC for the Social Democratic Party (SDP), citing the ruling party’s departure from its founding principles.
