Former President Olusegun Obasanjo has restated that Peter Obi is the right man to lead Nigeria.
In an interview shared on the X handle of Peter Obi Grassroots Mobilization, the elder stateman maintained that Peter Obi is still the man for Nigeria.
Obasanjo lamented that those in power are not concerned about the next generation; rather, they are only concerned with how to emerge as winners in the next election.
His words, “What do we see today in Nigeria, more than 60% of our population are below 25 or something like that. What are you going to do about them? What are you going to do for them?

“When those that come to power only think about the next election, not the next generation and for as long as we’re not thinking for the next generation, we’re destroying their future.
“Peter Obi is not the issue; Nigeria is the issue. For Nigeria, that I believe we need to have at this point in time, Peter Obi is still the man.”
