Caleb Mutfwang, Governor of Plateau State has strongly refuted allegations that judges were bribed with $5 million to nullify his election victory.
In a statement issued by the director of press and public affairs, Gyang Bere, the governor condemned the accusation, attributing it to his detractors with intentions to create discord between him, the judiciary, and other authorities.
Expressing concern over the matter, Governor Mutfwang urged thorough investigations by security agencies to identify and apprehend those responsible for the publication. He emphasized the importance of holding individuals accountable to deter similar misconduct in the future.

The governor indisputably distanced himself from the purported narrative, dismissing it as fabrications orchestrated by individuals manipulated as pawns by the opposition party in Plateau State. The statement highlighted that the motive behind such actions was an attempt to tarnish the image of the PDP government in the state.
Despite the false allegations, Governor Mutfwang affirmed his unwavering commitment and confidence in the judiciary, asserting that such malicious attempts would not deter his dedication to the state’s governance.
