Plateau Massacre: Volunteers Provide Aid to Survivors

In response to the attacks, volunteers from various Christian and humanitarian organizations have arrived in Plateau State to provide aid and support to the survivors.

Food, water, clothing, blankets, and medical supplies have been transported to the internally displaced persons (IDPs) camps, where many of the survivors sought refuge.

The Christmas Eve massacre in Plateau State was one of the deadliest attacks on Christians in Nigeria in recent years, and highlighted the ongoing violence and persecution faced by the religious minority in the North.

According to International Christian Concern, Nigeria is one of the most dangerous places for Christians, especially in the Middle Belt region, where more than 50,000 Christians have been killed in the past 20 years by Islamist insurgents and Fulani terrorists.

The organization also listed Nigeria in its annual Persecutors of the Year report for the last three years.
