Nigerian Police personnel have raided the home of Henry Nwodo, a member of the Take It Back Movement in Abuja, in connection with the organisation’s scheduled protest today (Monday).
According to SaharaReporters, it learned that Nwodo, who was arrested on Sunday, is being taken to an undisclosed court this morning. Furthermore, the police have denied the activist access to his family and lawyer.
“Henry Nwodo who was arrested yesterday (Sunday) is on his way to an unknown court now,” a source privy to the situation said.
“The police raided his location being an arrowhead in the mobilisation for today’s protest planned by TIB Movement. He was brutally arrested. He has not been allowed to see anyone since.”

It was further learned that Henry was arrested on Sunday while out buying food and has remained in custody since then.
“Henry Nwodowas was arrested where he went to buy food. But before his arrest, he was with members of TIB Movement around 8.45 pm on Sunday,” a source close to the organisation said on Monday morning.
“He has not been released yet; he was arrested because of the Take It Back Movement’s protest against police authorities.”
Henry is being held at the Mabushi Police Station in Abuja, SaharaReporters has learnt.
