Police Arrest, Grill Pastor Bolaji Idowu of Harvesters in Abuja Over Alleged Real Estate Fraud, Money Laundering

Operatives of the Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) of the Nigerian Police are interrogating Bolaji Idowu, the Lead Pastor of the Harvesters International Christian Center (HICC), in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory.

According to top police sources cited by SaharaReporters, Pastor Idowu, widely recognized as the “Next-Level Prayer Conference” pastor, has been arrested and is under investigation for alleged involvement in real estate fraud and money laundering.

“The Next Level Prayer Conference, Pastor Bolaji Idowu, has been arrested by the police, and he is being grilled in Abuja over real estate fraud and money laundering,” a top p police source said. 

“He is at the FCID Abuja as we speak,” another source added. 

Pastor Idowu founded the church in December 2003.

Since its inception, the church has grown, establishing locations across Nigeria, the United Kingdom, and the United States.

As noted on its website, Harvesters Church now draws over 70,000 worshippers through both online and onsite services.
