Police Arrest Two Over Alleged Involvement in Sokoto Market Attack

The Sokoto State Police Command has arrested two suspects in connection to the Gada market attack that claimed the lives of six persons in the Kiri, Gada Local Government Areas of Sokoto State.

The State Police Command’s Public Relations Officer, ASP Ahmad Rufai disclosed this during a telephone interview on Sunday.

Recall that the Sokoto State Police Command on April 20, confirmed the killing of six people after a bloody confrontation vigilantes and suspected Fulani armed terrorist at Gada weekly market.

According to him, the suspects were arrested with some exhibit including three cows and a Dane gun.

He further added that the suspects who are from Sabon garin Dole in Goronyo Local Government Area of Sokoto State have all confessed to the crime.
