A police inspector, Dasu Kassa, has died in Adamawa State.
Reports indicate that Kassa was discovered deceased at his home in Anguwan Yungur, Girei Local Government Area, on Monday evening.
He had reportedly returned earlier that day from a hospital in Yola, the state capital. The circumstances of his death are under investigation.
The Adamawa State Police Command has confirmed the incident, with spokesperson SP Suleiman Nguroje providing details to SaharaReporters.

Although no note was found, family sources suggest that financial difficulties and medical expenses may have been factors in his decision.
He said, “Actually the police inspector was found dead.
“The Command is investigating the matter with a view to finding out the circumstances that led to the death.”
