Human rights activist Aisha Yesufu has described the Nigerian police and judiciary as weapons of oppression, available to the highest bidder
Yesufu’s statement comes following the arrest and unlawful detention of the Nigerian journalist, Dele Farotimi.
In a post on her official X handle, she noted that the police and judiciary make themselves willing tools for oppression.
Her post reads,”Nigeria Police Force and the Nigerian Judiciary are weapon of oppression available to the highest bidder.
