The Police in Zamfara State have apprehended seven suspected killers of Sheikh Abubakar Hassan Mada after he was taken to an unknown destination in the name of answering some questions.
The Commissioner in the state, Shehu Muhammad Dalijan who paraded the suspects before journalists and members of the Izalatul Bidi’a wa’ikamatus Sunnah, said the operatives arrested a certain Kabiru who was one of the terrorists who attacked Kasuwa Daji, where they burnt a police operational vehicle and attacked the residence of the former chairman the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), Zamfara State.
The Commissioner assured that the police would charge all the suspects to court for diligent prosecution to ensure justice, and to serve as a deterrent to others.
The Police has however vowed to rid the state of criminals and criminalities and restore peace for the people to go about their normal activities without hindrances.
