Police Officer Reportedly Shoots, Kills 24-Year-Old Man on Onitsha/Owerri Road

Nigeria Police shot and killed a 24-year-old identified as only Ebuka on Wednesday along the Onitsha/Owerri Road.

The tragic incident was revealed by social media user HarrisonBbi18 in a tweet on X, where he claimed that the officers involved are currently in hiding after the fatal shooting.

Following the shooting, Ebuka was rushed to the hospital but was confirmed dead on arrival and his body has since been taken to the mortuary as investigations are expected to commence.

The incident has sparked outrage, further fueling concerns over the force’s brutality in the country.

Harrison has publicly called on the Inspector General of Police, Anambra Command to address the matter immediately and ensure the officers responsible are brought to justice.
