Nigerian Police Can Do Thorough Job If They Choose To—Charly Boy Narrates Rescue Operation of 20 Kidnapped Medical Students

Nigerian singer-songwriter, Charly Boy has declared that the Nigerian police can do a clean job if they really want to.

His statement is coming following the release of 20 medical students kidnapped in Benue on 16 August.

Charly in a post shared on his X handle revealed how the police made use of technology to track and intercept the kidnappers in their den.

He wrote,”Security agents killed suspected kidnapper, rescued 20 medical students and arrested 2 kidnappers.

“The rescue efforts were coordinated by Nuhu Ribadu himself from Abuja. Using technology, the den was traced to Ajide Forest in Ado LGA of Benue State.

“Once the den was identified, it was surrounded, but the kidnappers wanted to use the 20 medical students as human shield, however, one of the kidnappers was shot on the head by a top police sniper.

“The other two panicked and opted to escape, but escaped into the hands of police that have surrounded the den.”

“Nigeria police will do a clean job if they choose to do it,” he remarked.

“The 20 Students were taken to Nuhu Ribadu and are currently undergoing medical examinations and will be released to their parents on Monday,” he added.
