In a bold move towards the Edo 2024 governorship election, Dr. Loretta Oduware Ogboro-Okor, a prominent female aspirant vying for the Labour Party (LP) ticket, has passionately advocated for greater involvement of women in partisan politics.
Expressing concern over the marginalized role of Nigerian women during election seasons, Ogboro-Okor emphasized the need for women to step forward and actively engage in the political process.
The aspirant made these remarks immediately following her official declaration of intent to run for the Edo 2024 governorship poll, held at the Labour Party secretariat in Benin on Monday.
