The leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Ayodele, has advised Governor Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers State to focus on his official duties and entrust the actions of the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, to God.
Primate Ayodele’s counsel comes in response to the ongoing political turmoil in Rivers State, which has led to a rift between Wike’s faction and Governor Sim Fubara’s camp.
In a statement issued by his media aide, Oluwatosin Osho, the clergyman urged the governor not to engage in a confrontation with the FCT minister, emphasizing that such a conflict would be unproductive.
The spiritual leader advised Governor Fubara to channel his efforts towards the well-being of the people of Rivers State, expressing confidence that God would intervene in the matter involving Wike.

Primate Ayodele asserted that attempting to confront Wike would be futile for Governor Fubara, as it was not his battle to fight. He encouraged the governor to allow God to take charge, emphasizing that Wike was experiencing the consequences of his own actions.
He stated, “Fubara should demonstrate humility and fulfill his commitments to God. Rather than engaging in a feud with Wike, he should let him be and concentrate on his responsibilities and developmental projects.
“God wants to punish Wike for his wickedness. If Fubara takes a step to fight Wike, he will fail. Let Wike continue to fight himself, God will fight for you.’’
