Christian Genocide: For Every American Marine or Soldier, There’s a Graveyard Waiting — Prof. Sadeeque Abba Warns U.S. Against Military Action in Nigeria

Prof. Sadeeque Abba, a Nigerian political commentator, has warned that citizens are ready to resist any attempt by the United States to deploy troops to Nigeria.

His remarks follow recent reports that U.S. President Donald Trump allegedly threatened military action against Nigeria over the reported killing of Christians.

In a video circulating on X (formerly Twitter), Abba said Nigerian citizens not the government would confront any foreign invasion.

“For every American Marine, there’s a graveyard waiting,” he declared, insisting that Nigerians in “villages, towns, and the streets” were prepared for any confrontation.

He described such readiness as a “national secret,” while accusing foreign powers of historically trying to dictate to Nigeria’s leaders.

The professor cited past leaders like Generals Murtala Muhammad and Sani Abacha, claiming they once “called America’s bluff” when foreign interference threatened Nigeria’s sovereignty.

He maintained that the current generation of citizens was equally prepared to defend the nation, regardless of political or economic challenges.

The video, shared by X user @general_somto, has sparked widespread reactions online. While some users hailed Abba’s comments as patriotic, others criticised his tone as inflammatory and potentially dangerous to Nigeria’s diplomatic standing.

Security analysts also warned that such statements could escalate tensions and undermine ongoing efforts to address insecurity through peaceful and diplomatic means.
