On Monday, residents of Minna, the capital of Niger State, staged protest against the high cost of living in the country, leading to the blockage of major roads within the metropolis.
In a video on X, by Mukhtar Hadi, numerous residents of Minna took to the main roads to express their dissatisfaction with the escalating cost of living in the nation.
it was observed that the demonstrators obstructed major roads in Minna metropolis to register their protest against the growing hardships in the country.

Chanting in the Hausa language, one of the protesters expressed, “The increasing prices of food items and the inadequate efforts by the government to address the situation have compelled us to block major roads so that the government will heed our outcry.”
