Veteran Nollywood actor, Kanayo O Kanayo, has issued a cautionary message to parents, advising them to be vigilant about the sources of their children’s wealth.
The actor’s warning was delivered at a recent event and has since gone viral on social media.
In a video clip circulating online, Kanayo emphasised the importance of parents questioning their children about the origins of expensive gifts or monetary contributions.
He expressed concern that the lackadaisical attitude of some parents towards their children’s financial activities could contribute to the development of corrupt mindsets.

Kanayo articulated, “Your daughter is 20, she is using a phone of N1.5 m, then she gives you N100,000 and you fail to ask questions about the source. You wouldn’t live long.
“That is what is killing a lot of parents. Your son, who is not working, returns home with some money or a car, and you do not ask questions. I’m warning you,” Kanayo added. #wealth.
