Residents of Nottinghamshire, England, have been baffled by a plate filled with peeled bananas that mysteriously appear by the roadside every month for over a year.
The enigmatic ritual takes place on the second day of each month, with a plate of bananas consistently found at a street corner in Beeston, opposite a local church.
This curious trend reportedly began more than a year ago at the intersection of Abbey Road and Wensor Avenue.
Despite its regularity, the reason behind the monthly display remains unknown.
