Inibehe Effiong, a prominent human rights lawyer in Nigeria and a staunch advocate for good governance, has ignited a conversation on the need for revolution through his X platform as a solution to the ill state of governance in the country.
Effiong insists that revolution is the only solution, stating, “Revolution is the only way out. “We are only postponing the evil day as long as people in government keep behaving like mad thieves and animals.”
His sentiments have found resonance with Aisha Yesufu, a well-known activist and businesswoman who concurs with Effiong’s stance.
Yesufu, also utilizing the X platform, asserted, “The revolution will not even start on Twitter. There will be no date or time set. No placards or banners. No T-shirts or matching colors.”
Emphasizing the gravity of the situation, she added, “People will jump on the streets and fight for their survival.”
