Human rights activist Aisha Yesufu has declared that Ribadu is more pained about the Canadian Embassy denying the Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), Christopher Musa, a visa than about the number of Nigerians killed by terrorists.
Recall that on February 13, the National Security Adviser (NSA), Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, condemned the Canadian government for its decision to deny visas to Nigeria’s Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), Christopher Musa, and other senior military officials.
The officials were scheduled to attend an event in Canada honouring war veterans, but only part of the delegation was granted visas, leading to strong reactions from Nigerian authorities.

Addressing the visa denial, Ribadu expressed frustration, describing it as disrespectful, while Musa emphasised the need for Nigeria to assert itself on the global stage and not be taken for granted.
Meanwhile, reacting to his frustrating comment, Yesufu in a post shared on her X handle affirmed that Ribadu is not concerned about the lives of Nigerians wasted by terrorists rather he’s more pained that the CDS was denied a Canadian visa.
Her post reads,”Ribadu has been more pained about the visa denied the CDS by the Canadian embassy than Nigerians killed by terrorists.”
