Renowned American rapper and singer, Jidenna Theodore Mobisson, commonly known as Jidenna, has publicly confessed to deceiving and tricking women, admitting to robbing them of what he referred to as their “baby-making years.”
In an interview with StyleLikeU on Thursday, Jidenna shared details about how he manipulated women, making them believe he was the only one capable of providing unconditional love.
Expressing a mix of shame and anger at his past behavior, he acknowledged the negative impact of his actions on the lives of those he was involved with.
“I rob women of their baby-making years, dragging them; they built me up; look at me now and look at them,” Jidenna disclosed.
He explained his approach, stating, “If you were creative, I folded you into my artwork. If you were in my artwork, I gave you a job. I mastered your life. I gave you a house, food, and everything you need. I protected and provided for you. I did what men are supposed to do.”

The artist recalled using manipulative phrases, saying, “I remember different quotes I said, like really manipulative things to say like no one’s going to love you the way I do.”
“I’m ashamed of it, and that’s what makes me angry when I see my brothers do that. We can’t do that to the women who have done so much for us,” Jidenna asserted.
Concluding the interview, Jidenna outlined his commitment to personal growth, stating, “Bit by bit, I stripped myself of my former self, and I swore that in the next relationship that I would get into, I would work as hard at love as I worked in my career.”
