Cristiano Ronaldo is omitted from Portugal’s lineup for their friendly against Sweden as coach Roberto Martinez opts for squad changes.

Initially named in Martinez’s 32-player roster, Ronaldo, alongside Diogo Dalot, Joao Cancelo, Danilo Pereira, Otavio, Ruben Neves, Vitinha, and Joao Felix, has been excluded. According to ESPN, these players are being rested for the friendly match.

Ronaldo, currently on vacation with his family in Saudi Arabia, is granted a period of rest, taking advantage of the pause in the Saudi Pro League for the international break.
